Hunting Season is in effect. Break out your bright orange or other vibrant colored gear! Hunting specific closures will take place at the following networks and dates:
- Hinesburg Town Forest: October 25th – December 14th (All trails in Hinesburg Town Forest, except: Maiden, Sheep Thrills, Eagle’s Trail, Russell’s Ramble, Missing Link, Backdoor)
- Mobbs Farm: November 16th – 30th (All trails)
Hunting is also permitted in several other networks which will not be closed to riding including Saxon Hill (on the School District Parcel with Low Flow, Extendo, Upper Flow, Jump Lines and Summit trails) and Carse Hills.
Please help share awareness about hunting and trail closures to give other user groups priority during their short season! We are fortunate to have access all summer long and it is our time to give others a chance to use the forest.
